About Mickey Lee

I grew up in the hills of Southwest Virginia, where front porches were the heart of everyday life, and that easy rhythm still shapes the way I see the world. Front Porch Philosophy is my place to share the small‑town stories, memories, and porch‑side wisdom that come from listening, watching, and living close to the mountains. My writing is simple, honest, and rooted in the people and places that raised me, and if any of it feels familiar, pull up a chair and stay awhile.
